To rescue is to save a living being from a dangerous or distressing situation or environment. On any given day, Glory Bound Rescue Ranch is a safe haven and a place of healing for up to 100 horses, dogs, pigs, bunnies, goats, llamas, and a variety of barnyard birds. 

 

Many of our animals are healing from abuse, neglect, abandonment, and trauma from being in the kill-pen, or high-kill shelters. Some are shy or undersocialized. Some have medical issues. All are healing in one way or another. No matter what the situation or need, all of the animals at Glory Bound find refuge here with people who care deeply about each and every one of them. 

 

Tucked away in rural Marengo, IL our animals have a quiet place to decompress to just be themselves and love a stress-free life.

Our sanctuary residents, who are less than perfect and don’t quite fit in will live out their Glory days in the loving care of our volunteers until they are ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge.
