Fall on the Farm- The October/November Barnyard Bulletin

Fall on the Farm: A Season of Love and Gratitude

Greetings, dear friends of Glory Bound Rescue Ranch! As the vibrant colors of autumn paint the world around us, we wanted to share some exciting updates from the farm. We've been bustling with activity at Stade's, where our petting zoo has been a source of joy and connection for visitors of all ages.

As we embrace the cozy embrace of fall, we're also gearing up for the winter months ahead. These past few months have seen the hearts of many dogs and puppies light up with the promise of a loving forever home. Their journeys are a testament to the incredible support and dedication of our community.

But, as the temperatures drop and the days grow shorter, we'll be turning to our cherished followers for support. Your donations, whether big or small, play a crucial role in helping us provide warmth, care, and nourishment to our beloved animals throughout the winter season. Together, we can ensure that they stay safe, happy, and healthy.

So, as we step into this beautiful season of change, we invite you to join us on this journey of love, gratitude, and giving. Together, we'll continue to make a positive impact on the lives of those who need it most. Stay tuned for heartwarming stories, upcoming events, and ways you can help us make it through the winter.

In Loving Memory of Rose Lee Ewald

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Rose Lee Ewald, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and passionate horse lover. Rose's love for horses was a radiant light in her life, and it's a love that she passed down to her daughter, Jennifer Finkleman, the owner and founder of Glory Bound Rescue Ranch.

Rose's legacy lives on through the deep connection she nurtured with these magnificent creatures. Her genuine adoration for horses played a pivotal role in shaping Jennifer's lifelong dedication to rescuing and caring for animals. In honor of Rose, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to Glory Bound Rescue Ranch. Rose cherished the farm and all the animals that call it home, and supporting the rescue holds a special place in her heart. During this difficult time, please keep Jennifer and her family in your thoughts and prayers. The loss of Rose leaves a profound void, but her memory will forever shine bright in the love and compassion she shared with all. Cherry and Ellie: A Story of Unbreakable Bonds

At Glory Bound Rescue Ranch, miracles happen every day, and this is a tale that truly warms the heart. It all began when we rescued Cherry's mom, Sage, from the unforgiving grasp of a kill pen. Sage's story was one of hope, as she found her way to us just in time. But little did we know, we were about to be blessed with an unexpected surprise - Sage was pregnant.

This unexpected twist of fate brought forth the incredible journey of Ellie and Cherry. Ellie, an aspiring equestrian, had always dreamed of having a horse companion. Her heart was set on a rescue, even though conventional wisdom suggested starting with a well-trained horse for her first. Then, one fateful day, while casually browsing pet adoption listings, she stumbled upon a photo that would change her life forever - a picture of Cherry. There was something about Cherry that captured Ellie's heart like no other.

Hay Baby!

Winter can be one of the toughest seasons on the farm. After facing a challenging drought earlier this year and with the rising cost of hay, we could really use your support. Please consider making a donation to our Winter Hay Fund. Your generosity helps feed not only our horses but also our goats, llamas, donkeys, and cow. Every little bit counts, and together, we can ensure our beloved animals stay well-fed and warm throughout the winter months. Thank you for being a part of our farm family!

Did you hear the news?

Did you catch the amazing news? In July, several of our incredible followers hosted birthday fundraisers on Facebook and collectively raised over $700.00! It's truly heartwarming to see how every effort, big or small, can make a huge difference. But did you know that there are several ways you can help us without making a financial contribution?

Calling all recycling champions! 2nd Sunday of the Month

Swing by the farm between 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM, 10/15 and 11/12 and let's team up to fill that trailer with aluminum cans! Remember, the recycling superhero rule: cans must be bagged. Aluminum cans need to stay separate from steel. Together, we'll make a sustainable impact, one can at a time! 🌟♻️ #CanDropOff #RecyclingHeroes #SustainableImpact
